Supporting the little steps that make the big things happen

Kaleidoscope

Chuckle Kaleidoscope is a social group for over 18’s with additional needs delivered in community venues. The Kaleidoscope project will run once a month at a local community venue and will be full of fun with lots to do, from playing games to discos and lots of other activities.  The group is run by young adults with additional needs from our ArtShed scheme (our Arts Training Scheme created to provide life skills & arts training with the ultimate aim of helping to find employment, supported by the Community Fund) fully supported by the Chuckle Team.

The project has two main aims:

  • To upskill and give “hands on” experience to our ArtShed in project management, planning and delivery, and to offer them the opportunity to be role-models and mentors to other young people in a safe supported environment
  • To provide an opportunity for over 18’s with additional needs to attend a social group, be less isolated, gain friends and confidence, and have fun.
